Hampus started as making an award winning skateboarding/snowboarding films in high school and soon after got work directing music videos for some of Sweden’s biggest artists. After this he started working as a editor from TV and commercials and then became a directors assistant.

He worked with many of Sweden´s foremost directors among them Jens Jonsson, Jesper Ganslandt, Max Vitali and Anders Jedenfors. For example on the Swedish academy award nominated and CHP:DOC winning documentary “In the country”. He has participated in many similar forums such as the the talents camps at Reykjavik international filmfestival, Odense international film festival, Uppsala short filmfestival, Camerimage, Torino Film Lab in Gdynia. His documentary in development “A home for care and living” has already been at both the Screen Talent Europe Pitch at the Norwegian film festival and won at the FilmCloud pitch during Frame festival in Sweden and is going to pitch at prestigious Nordic short & doc film festival in September. His films have been screened at festivals around the world among them Reykjavik international filmfestival, Odense international film festival and Uppsala short filmfestival.

Today he studies directing at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz.
